Moderate stimulation meditations are the kind of thing we can slot in at most times of the day whenever we have a spare 10 minutes.
The most common of these is called 'going for a walk', but other options can be things like rocking back and forth, humming, knitting, or making knives out of broken samurai swords.
1 - Avoid rumination
When you are walking and a thought starts to loop, get your phone out and text yourself so it can go into your cultivation backlog.
These thoughts will often see themselves through to completion if you are walking. The movement of your legs provides a steady drip of dopamine while texting yourself batches an elongated thought into micro-steps with completion every time you click 'send'.
2 - Avoid media where possible
These are best viewed as an opportunity to export rather than import. You can still use media if you must, but generally the high-stimulation activities are better for import and moderate-stimulation are better for export.
3 - Stay anchored in bodily sensation
Enjoy the scenery but remain aware of your body as part of the scene; try to cultivate an awareness of both the external and internal world and how one affects the other. Acknowledge thoughts and release them.
