You could substitute hiking or any other form of moderate intensity multiday exercise if you wished.
This tour will both act as a deconditioning & cultivation period and - possibly - tip the scales into a cessation event. Cessation events only happen when your mind is ready, though, and the lining up of minima is cumulative. Progress is progress and these tours certainly bring progress.
Key points:
Go alone
Ride 4-6 hours per day at zone-2 level intensity
Do not set a strict finish-line for the day because this would make it goal-oriented
Split the day into ~1 hour chunks of focus with a brief snack stop inbetween
Eat and drink plenty; weight loss is not the goal
Follow the guidelines for high stimulation regulation
Stop when a thought begins to loop in your mind and message yourself to initiate deconditioning
Keep interpersonal interaction to a minimum
No alcohol or drugs
End each day with your evening routine as much as possible
Be prepared for the usual deconditioning cycles; the first few days are the hardest and equanimity tends to settle in after that
